Head Shape

Head shapes have changed dramatically over the years, but most sticks on the market today are only available in a limited number of head shapes.  The two major types are midi or maxi heads, with many manufacturers settling on a compromise somewhere between the two. You may also select the head shape of the stick depending on your position or style of play.

Shorti

The "shorti head" features a one-piece head to allow quick manoeuvrability around the ball.

Midi

The "midi head" features an increased hook surface and slightly longer length to allow a larger hitting and stopping area to facilitate receiving, flicking and reverse stick play
